Jose Cardoza, 23, of St. James died on Saturday, July 10, 2010 in rural Martin County as a result of a motor vehicle accident.
Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, July 15, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. at St. James Catholic Church in St. James with Father Luis Vargas officiating. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery in St. James.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 15, 2010 beginning at 9:00 a.m. at the church.
Jose Teodoro Cardoza was born on April 22, 1987 in Fresno, California. He attended high school in St. James and in Plainview, Nebraska. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed fishing and camping. His passions included UFC and other combative sports and video gaming. He got much joy from spending time with family, friends, and his dogs.
Survivors include his parents, Esteban and Maria Armedariz; brothers, Esteban Armedariz, Jr and Raymundo Armedariz; sisters, Elizabeth Armedariz, Esperanza Armedariz and Marilee Armedariz; grandparents, Maria C. Rangel and Francisco Rangel all of St. James, MN and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
