Both are to blame

Dear Editor,
The two parties are too extreme and polarizing to work together. They both are equally to blame for our state government mess! Both parties are picking candidates who fit a certain mold. Candidates who have worked their way up a political ladder. How can such well-educated politicians get this state government so messed up? It’s about politics, votes and donations! What happened to putting the needs of the state before a political agenda.
In a recent USA Today Poll, 60% of those polled said that both parties are equally to blame! In a Gallop Poll last week, 80% said they want a balanced approach to balancing the budget. Only 20% want a cuts only budget deal. Wake up GOP, you have only 20% of the voters with you right now. How do you think you will win any positions in the next election? DFL, 60% of the people hold you equally responsible and your election hopes are a little better than the GOP. Even DFLer, Mike Hatch said that all current office holders should not be re-elected, DFL and GOP alike.
Voters stop donating to and voting for candidates of those two parties. Look for candidates who are not from those two parties to vote for! We need Quality Independent Candidates to run for state office now!
I am looking to the Independent Party candidates to offer new leadership in this state and so should you! I am waiting for quality independent candidates to step up now and announce a run for state office. We need a third choice NOW!''
