The month of May is National Bike Month here in the United States. In collaboration with the designated Bike Month, people are urged to ditch the car and ride a bike to work for the month.

Such a large number of games in such a short stretch of time puts a strain on a pitching staff. The Saints have some depth on the mound, but Head Coach Jon Wilson had three pitchers split the innings in both games one and two of the St. Peter games. Five pitchers split the innings of the next double header and three pitchers went against New Ulm.

The position of executive director was offered to Firchau April 23, 2013. She had been considered in the past for executive director. The board decided to offer her the position before opening it up to other applicants. There are no immediate plans to hire a new assistant, but the transition has been smooth for Firchau.
