The third time was indeed a charm for the annual ice-fishing contest on St. James Lake; after initially being scheduled for the Saturday of Chilla-Bration weekend, then being postponed on account of bitter cold and dangerous winds to February 22, then being postponed again because of bone-rattling chill, anglers finally got their chance Saturday.

After concluding their season with a 65-43 home loss to Luverne February 21, the St. James High School boys basketball season put a bow on the 2014-2015 proceedings with their annual banquet at First Presbyterian Church Sunday.
