The St. James Area High School clay target shooting team captured their class title June 14 in Alexandria, qualifying them for the state tournament in Prior Lake. "We won first place in class 1A," said head coach Mark Johnson. "There were over 800 students and 80 schools there competing for this title, (and) now we have one hurdle left [...] the Minnesota State High School League state championship."
