The St. James Area baseball team ended their season with a 4-0 loss to New Ulm Saturday, so they had their banquet Tuesday night, and Bransen Petersen was named the team’s most valuable player.Petersen was also the team’s "ace," and he and David Bradley were the top team leaders. Petersen led the Saints in hits and doubles, and he was the squad’s most consistent pitcher.

On a cold, windy Monday at Interlaken Golf Club, the St. James Area golf team played their conference meet; Sophie Lepp turned in the best score for SJA’s girls, with 106, while Clay Winrich also shot 106 for the boys.
