Meeting called to order with Mayor Gary Sturm, Councilpersons Kathleen Hanson, Josh Haseman, Don Mackey and Paul Harris present. Also in attendance were City Clerk LeeAnn Nibbe, City Manager Joe McCabe and City Attorney Steve Sunde.
February 7th meeting minutes reviewed and approved with a motion brought forth by council member for a policy regarding city employee training. If not mandatory for continuing education each department head must justify sending such employee to the training course. Two department heads present at meeting stated that all trainings utilized are to improve their respective departments and are budgeted for the year. Firefighters attending training courses are volunteering their time to attend with being reimbursed for mileage plus room and meals where applicable. Council approved no policy needed as long as all trainings are within planned annual budgets for each department.
Permit approved unanimously to Rolston Construction for special water and sewer licenses for local remodel of Casey’s stores.
