Free train rides by Union Pacific

    Union Pacific Railroad and the UP Employee Club of St James would like to invite you to enjoy a free ride on a passenger train sponsored by Union Pacific Railroad.
    The train will operate out of St James August 12th at 2:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m.
    The train will be departing from the Union Pacific Depot at 300 North Armstrong Blvd.
    During the excursion we will offer a brief Operation Lifesaver safety message.
    Please keep in mind the following before deciding if this ride is for you:
    • Vintage passenger cars are not handicap accessible.
    • The UP Employee Club will be collecting non-perishable food items to be donated to the Food Pantry in St James. Participation is voluntary.
    • Ride not intended for infants or toddlers.
    • No food or drink, other than water, allowed inside passenger cars.
    • Please use restroom prior to getting on train for the 1 hour ride.
    • Boarding will begin 30 minutes prior to departure time.
    • No one will be allowed to board without a boarding pass.
    First train departs St. James at 2:00 p.m. enroute to Mountain Lake and returns approximately 3:10 p.m.
    Second train departs St. James at 4:00 p.m. enroute to Lake Crystal and returns at 5:10 p.m.
    FREE TICKETS are available at the Chamber of Commerce located at 516 1st Avenue South.            Please note all of the above before picking up your FREE TICKETS.             Limited seating available for each ride.
    The Chamber will not hold tickets for riders.    The Chamber of Commerce will have the tickets available Monday – Wednesday 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. Please call the office at 375-3333.
