It’s nearly Labor Day, which means the Gohdal days' festivities are are coming up. Godahl has had its Labor day festivities for well over 50 years, and this year they’re looking forward to the annual festivities. Perhaps the most popular part of the celebration is the parade. The parade takes place on the town’s only street, and it starts at 12:30. Classic cars, floats, sports teams and community groups join together and will traverse the town. Also, a part of the traditional annual festivities is the crowning of Miss Godahl, live music from the St. James band and other artists, delicious food, and sporting events including baseball. Godahl is on Minnesota State Highway 4, straddling Watonwan county and Brown county.
