According to a Watonwan County Sheriff’s Office incident report over $3400 worth of items  were reported stolen from the Watonwan County Fairgrounds during the fair time.

The incident report states that Sue Craig reported Chief Deputy Jeremy Nachreiner on July 18 that the following items were missing from the night before with the estimated replacement cost.

Dell Latitude - $1500

Dell Inspiron - $1500

Two cordless drills -$200

Verizon Wi-Fi router -$100

The incident report states that according to Craig the two laptops and the Wi-FI routers were inside one of the fair buildings when she left for the night around 8 p.m. on July 17.

When Craig arrived the next day she did not notice any signs of forced entry but did notice that the main fair office was missing a cordless drill.

On July 25 Deputy Nate Ellis took a report from Craig after she noticed two additional items were taken during the theft.

Taken was a $25 speaker along with 12 electrical cords and 3 power strips. The items were valued at $150 according to the incident report.

At this time there are no suspects in the incident according to the incident report.
