Beverly Ann Satern, 78, of St. James, died Wednesday, March 22, 2017 at Mayo Clinic Health System - Mankato. Graveside services will be 11 a.m., Saturday, March 25, at Mt. Hope Cemetery in St. James with Rev. Clinton Firstbrook officiating. A luncheon will follow at the Eagles Club in St. James. Beverly was born July 8, 1938 in St. James, the daughter of Ernest and Margaret (Gilman) Engelking. Bev grew up in St. James and graduated from St. James High School in 1956. In 1958, she married Arnold Williams. The couple made their home in Marshall, where they raised their five children. Later Bev owned and operated Bev's Antiques and Pawn for many years. Bev moved back to St. James in 2007, to be closer to her family. In 2010, she married Wayne Satern. Bev enjoyed refinishing furniture, attending gun shows, and never missed a garage sale. She enjoyed having coffee with family and friends. Her love of animals led her to volunteer at the Humane Society. She was a member of First Lutheran Church in St. James.

Bev is survived by her children: Jeff Williams of Marshall; Jeanne (Brian) Cramer of St. Charles, Ill., Tracey (John) St. Aubin of Hudsonville, Mich., Tammy (Chad) Regnier of Sartell, Melissa (Jon) Roesler of Pierre, S.D.; siblings: Jean Landsteiner, Ernie (Judy) Engelking, Sharon Randall, Roger (Mona) Engelking, and Roxanne (Warren) Romsdahl, all of St. James; 12 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and her dogs: Gracie, Zoe and Baby. She is preceded in death by two husbands, Arnold Williams, and Wayne Satern; parents; sister, Carol Schultz; brother, Dennis Engelking; grandson, Josh Williams; niece, Rhonda Engelking; and her dogs: Sumo, Sasha, Snickers, Maggie, and Jaz.
