ST. JAMES - Germaine Grove Knickrehm Rust of St. James passed away at Mayo Clinic Health System in Mankato on February 7, 2022. Services for Germaine will be held Saturday, May 28, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, St. James with Pastor Martin Lopahs officiating. Visitation will be held one hour before the service at St. Paul’s Church. A private family burial will be held at Mt. Hope cemetery. You may send the family condolences online at www.sturmfh.com. County’s COVID-19 positivity rate down .1%
Minnesota reported last week, ending on Thursday, 1,217,064 cases. Last week had an increase of 7,622 cases. Hospitalization increased from 59,743 to 60,212. The total number of deaths in the state from COVID-19 increased by 136 to bring the cumulative number of deaths to 12,066.
