Charter Commision reviewing and updating Home Rule
The St. James Charter Commission has started the process of reviewing and updating the current Home Rule City Charter of the City of St. James. This will be the third charter revision of the 1918 city charter and the last revision was done in 1998.

Spring has sprung
Sunday was the first official day of spring. Since about end of last week it has definitely felt like spring with having temperatures up in the 50s and 60s and the sun shining. It was amazing makes ones spring fever feel a little better.

Cyclones take home 10 state medals
The St. James Cyclones wrestling club qualified 11 wrestlers for the MN/USA state wrestling tournament in Rochester this past weekend and brought home 10 medals! 10 state medals is a huge accomplishment for our wrestling club and we couldn’t be more proud of our wrestlers.

A Celebration of Life Service for Gary M. Schwanz, 73, of St. James was 11 a.m. Friday, March 18, 2022 at Augustana Lutheran Church in St. James with Pastor Mandy France and Deacon Lyla Klee officiating. Burial was in Mt. Hope Cemetery in St. James.
