The St. James City Council meeting last Tuesday was full of community members, who are concerned about the cleanliness of the city and want to know what the city is doing about it.

New season and section, same team
St. James 2022 softball season has begun. The team is coming off one of their best seasons last year, finishing second place in the conference they went 17-6 with 10-2 conference record. Head Coach Sam Baumgartner said this was the most conference wins they had in the whole program.

Linda Buller retires from Community Service Director after 15 years

Senior Citizen Spotlight: Dennis Johnson
My interview this month is with Dennis Johnson, who has lived his entire life in St. James. He is truly a hometown hero. Over the years Johnson has received many awards for being so generous with his time. He has been very active and always giving back to the community.
