Thank You Teachers

This week is Teacher Appreciation Week. When one thinks of how much time we spend with teachers through out our educational career and all that we put them through they deserve all the appreciation and credit. But this should not just happen during this one week a year, teachers should be shown appreciation all year long, it doesn’t need to be anything grand but kindness goes a long ways.

Ten lessons I’ve learned

A lot can happen in the span of 10 years. This is especially true for our family. In April 2012, we traveled from Union Grove, WI to St. James to interview at a small local church. Our family met with the search committee, my husband preached to the congregation, then we left for the church to pray, make a decision, and eventually vote my husband, Pastor Dave Ciske, in as the next pastor of Crossroads Church.
