SJA Trapshooting Athletes Venture to Alexandria for Clay Target Championship
Spring sports for St. James Area have narrowed to one program still competing as the Saints trapshooting team heads to Alexandria on June 17th for the MSHSL State Clay Target finals. The top 40 teams coming out of Alexandria will advance to the MSHSL Trapshooting Championships in Prior Lake.

Swanson and Schmidt named Miss St. James
Each year the St. James Railroad Days accepts applicants from junior year girls for Miss St. James. This year Jaelyn Haler and Destiny Sawatzky passed their crowns down to Lunden Swanson and Emma Schmidt.
Embracing Diversity
Last week, the authors of Embracing Diversity: Faith, Vocation, and the Promise of America came to town and spoke at the St. James library. The authors are Darrell Jodock and William Nelsen. There were two take-aways from their conversation that I wanted to pass on.

ODIN: A Service of Remembrance for Leona R. Jacoby, 87, of New Ulm and formerly of rural Odin was 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 15, 2022 at Zion Lutheran Church in Odin. Private family burial was in Long Lake Lutheran Cemetery in rural St. James.
