Martins fly back south
Mary Lou Oldenburg’s Purple Martin Palace which is across from Sunset Drive had another great year in St. James.
No Greater Sacrifice, No Service Too Small
We are moving towards Veterans Day, even if the weather seems to be moving the other way. The weather tends to be part of daily conversations but talking about sacrifices by our veterans and their families should stretch far beyond November 11th.

1st Sgt. Modern to Speak at St. James Veterans Day Program
Decorated veteran Nathan Modeen, a 1991 SJHS graduate, is the featured speaker for the November 11th ceremony at the St. James High School Event Center. The program will begin at 10:15 that Friday morning, is open to the public, and veterans and current military are invited to lunch afterwards.
