For those that observe, last week was National Education Week and the official proclamation marking over a century of universal public education lasting twelve years for every student. The tradition takes place the week before Thanksgiving and schools and communities can choose different ways to observe and celebrate.

2022 Volleyball Banquet Highlights Athletic and Academic Achievements
The St. James Area Saints volleyball team fit the term “student- athlete” with outstanding accomplishments in the classroom and competing on the volleyball court. Players, parents, coaches, and fans gathered at Augustana Lutheran Church to celebrate their season.

Gymnastics to be Led by Farber for 2022-23 Season
The new head coach for St. James Area gymnastics is Sydney Farber, a student-teacher in the school district. Originally from Andover, Farber’s background in gymnastics is welcomed by the Saints program.
