Angels Among Us are the people in our community who work to touch lives, help the less fortunate, make a difference for others. We all know someone that describes. An Angel. And we want to work with you and the community to recognize their efforts.

Jesus said: “You are the salt of the earth. . . . You are the light of the world. . . . , let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.” (Matthew 5:13, 14 &16) If you’re trying to hide from a hungry bear in a dark forest, shining a flashlight in every direction won’t be helpful. Your scent might still give you away, but your flashlight will also help the bear hone in on your whereabouts. Shining a light in dark places makes it difficult to hide. The light gives you away.

St. James City News Letter had a lot of annoucnements. The most important one is City Hall will be closed on Feb. 16, 17 and 20 for moving and Presidents day. City Hall’s new address will be 1205 6th Ave S.
