Butterfield-Odin FFA recognized as a newly chartered chapter at the State Convention
Butterfield-Odin FFA was a part of the sea of blue at the University of Minnesota for the annual State FFA Convention. Chapter members who attended took an active role in the chapter’s visit to the convention.

Climate Smart St. James has been busy discussing projects and ideas
Following a discussion of bottled water vs reusable water bottles at its last meeting, the Climate Smart St. James members committed themselves to considering ways to personally reduce their use of bottled water, as well as advocating for more water fountains and reusable water bottle filling stations within the community.

May is Mental Health Month
In my column last week you all heard about the issues I was having over the weekend. Update for you all our basement is no longer flooded, we needed a new sump pump, and my voice is back. Mixed emotions about my car though it is in the shop still being looked over, Dillon has been talking with the mechanic about what is happening so fingers crossed it all gets figured out.

After what has seemed like a never-ending winter, the month of May is finally upon us and with it, hope to truly believe in a spring and possible summer. A full slate of designated days are off and running with May Day, along with Lei Day in Hawaii, on the 1st, followed by Cinco de Mayo, Mother’s Day, Armed Forces Day, National Maritime Day, Victoria Day in Canada, and Memorial Day.

St. James FFA Named SuperIor Chapter at Convention
April 23-25 the blue sea invaded the University of Minnesota for the annual State FFA Convention and St James FFA was present for the action. They were extremely successful so lets recap all of their awards and accomplishments.
