An introduction to fishing
Thirty-three kids came out to the North Shelter in Memorial Park June 5 to learn about fishing. They left after learning about types of fish they might encounter on a fishing trip, different techniques for catching and handling fish, and the safety of fishing in general.
On track for a good time
The 2025 version of Railroad Days will run from Monday, June 16, through Sunday, June 22, with entertainment and activities for all age groups.

TENNIS: Rivera competes at state tourney
The Reed-Sweatt Family Tennis Center in Minneapolis hosted the 2025 MSHSL State Tennis Championships JUne 3-6. Andrei Rivera represented the St. James Area program as an individual.
TOWN BALL: A’s fall to Stark, Lamberton
The Stark Longhorns prevailed 9-4 at St. James Sunday, jumping out to a 7-0 lead in the seventh inning. The A’s scored all of their runs from the bottom of the seventh forward, including a home run by Reggie Blom.
