CORTLAND, NY – July 28, 2020 – January 1, 2022

Avery Kent Olson, beloved son of Kory & Heather Olson of Cortland, NY passed away peacefully in the comfort of his home on January 1, 2022. Avery was born July 28, 2020 and throughout his 17 months he blessed all those who he encountered. He was truly the happiest little man ever. He made anyone around him smile, dance, and even sing. He loved listening to Dr. Seuss books and watching the Grinch. He was definitely going places. He was loved by many, including grandparents – Kent‘Oly’ Olson who looked forward to meeting his first grandchild but died on 5/8/20, St. James, Marlene & David Hollenbeck, Dryden, NY, Christine & Garry Lynch, Virgil, NY, Mike McCall, Groton, NY; and great-grandparents – Shirley Greene, Dryden, NY, Doug & Joan McCall, Truxton, NY; and many aunts, uncles and cousins. He was also preceded in death by great-grandparents Burton & Marcia Olson (St. James), Calvin Greene, and Fred & Edith Davis. Services were held on January 14, 2022 at Perkins Funeral Home in Dryden, NY.
