Ninth grader Ellie Stordalen is this year’s last Artist of the Week. Stordalen’s voice part is soprano, she also plays the french horn and trumpet in Jazz Unlimited.
St. James public schools hosting agricultural education intern

Becky Cronk of St. James Public Schools is hosting Elaina Knott as an Agricultural Education Intern. The internship is part of a State Teach Ag Results (STAR) program initiative, which is coordinated by the Minnesota Agricultural Education Leadership Council (MAELC). Knott is originally from Thief River Falls, MN and is studying Agricultural Education at the University of Minnesota-Crookston.

Watonwan County Food Shelf collecting donations at Railroad Days Parade
This year the Watonwan County Food Shelf will be participating in the Railroad Days Parade. During the parade, Food Shelf Board Members and Volunteers will be collecting non-perishable food and monetary donations and are encouraging the community to give so they can continue to provide for those in need.

Ticket info, deadline approaches for annual St. James Wrestling Hall of Fame Banquet
The 50th anniversary continues for a magical winter in the St. James community when the Saints stood alone above all teams in the state for both the wrestling and basketball championships. The St. James Wrestling Hall of Fame will honor both the 1972 wrestling and basketball teams on July 16th, along with seven inductees, with several options remaining to get a ticket but time is running out.

Each year the St. James Railroad Days accepts applicants from junior year girls for Miss St. James. This year Jaelyn Haler and Destiny Sawatzky passed their crowns down to Lunden Swanson and Emma Schmidt.
