Iowa State University announced its fall 2021 Dean’s List. Students named to the Dean's List must have earned a grade point average of at least 3.50 on a 4.00 scale. This student from the St. James area was named to the list.

The City of St. James Economic Development team is thrilled to announce its new “Business Spotlight program.” The Business Spotlight program is a FREE business recognition program designed to create awareness about the variety of quality businesses located in the City of St. James and their contributions to the community.
Madagascar is coming to Northside Elementary
Northside Elementary is having its spring musical again this year. After not being able to have one since 2020, when the school started one but was not able to perform because of COVID-19.
St. James high school Student and ambulance volunteers awarded

St. James High School student Tanner Olson and five volunteers with the St. James ambulance, Seth Basmoen, Destinee Strand, Jason Monnens, Jose Carreon, and Abbey Trickel, were recognized with Lifesave Awards by the South Central EMS Regional System on Monday night.
Saints look to avenge lost against Waseca

St. James will play host to Waseca in a high school boys basketball game on Friday night, hoping to avenge a 78-71 loss to the host Bluejays on Jan.

Question: What is the law in regards to pushing snow from ones driveway out onto the road? Answer: It is illegal to place snow from a driveway on or next to a public highway or street. The Minnesota Department of Transportation reminds everyone, “The placing of snow on or near a public road creates hazards, including drainage problems, drifting, sight obstruction and unsafe access.
