New Saints Sports Were En Route During Spring of ‘66’

A winter season of contrast between sports eased phased into a mixed bag of activities for St. James High School student-athletes in 1966. Golf and Tennis were now part of sports offerings for the Saints student body.

Winning Season Paves Way for GBB Banquet Highlights

Winning a home playoff game and putting together the first winning record since 2006-2007 led to well-deserved awards at the 2023 Saints girls basketball banquet on March 28th. Seniors Taylor Sodeman and Lunden Swanson were honored for their leadership contributions.

Honors Continue For SJA’s Sodeman, Tabbed Among Best of Hoops League

After years as a force for the St. James Area girls basketball program, Taylor Sodeman closed her career with a selection to the 1st team All-Big South Conference squad. The future holds further competition with the Briar Cliff University team next season.

11 St. James Cyclones wrestlers participated in the MNUSA State wrestling tournament last weekend and brought home 9 state medals! Fridays competition showcased 3 Cyclones wrestlers, Bryce Miller, Dax Romsdahl, & Khristian Campos participating in the 6u & 8u age levels.

Minnesota Agencies Offer Suicide Prevention Trainings to Equip Rural Ministry Leaders
St. Paul, MN: The Minnesota Department of Agriculture (MDA) and the Minnesota Department of Health (MDH) are partnering to offer free suicide prevention trainings for rural faith leaders this April and May. Clergy and lay leaders who serve rural congregations of all faiths and denominations are welcome.
