To the Editor: According to the February 21, 2023 edition of the Minneapolis Tribune, a Minneapolis man pled guilty to two counts of murder for killing a pregnant woman. How come this is murder and getting an abortion up until the day of birth is not? Elroy Geistfeld Lewisville .

After years as a force for the St. James Area girls basketball program, Taylor Sodeman closed her career with a selection to the 1st team All-Big South Conference squad. The future holds further competition with the Briar Cliff University team next season.

St. Paul, MN: The Minnesota Department of Agriculture (MDA) and the Minnesota Department of Health (MDH) are partnering to offer free suicide prevention trainings for rural faith leaders this April and May. Clergy and lay leaders who serve rural congregations of all faiths and denominations are welcome.
