Goodbye Winter and Hello Spring! Monday was the official first day of Spring, it felt like it too. The sun was shining and it was warmer out, overall it was a great day. Here’s to the end of winter and the start of sunshiny days.
Awards Banquet Reflects Season of Progress For SJA Wrestling
The St. James Area wrestling banquet took place on March 13th with early photos in last week’s Plaindealer.
Teamwork, Scholarship, and Leadership Headline Saintettes Banquet

The St. James Area Danceline closed a successful 2022-23 season with their awards banquet on March 7th. Individual honors were meted out along with awards for academics and serving in leadership roles.

The group went exploring all over Meadowlark Prairie. Coming down the hill is Cecelia Alphs, Lola Barrett, Knox Barrett, Leonard Mathistad, and Quinn Mathistad.
Banquet for Saints Wrestlers Served Up Awards for 2022-23

The Saint James Area wrestling banquet was held at the Presbyterian Church Monday evening, March 13th. Awards celebrated strong improvement during the recent campaign with an extra helping of optimism for even greater success in coming years.
St. James FFA Teams Qualify for State

On Wednesday, March 1, Fish and Wildlife and Companion Animal competed in a regional contest in Tracy, MN. Both teams competed well and qualified for State Competition which is held annually at the FFA State Convention which is located at the U of M in Minneapolis, MN.
Diamond Jubilee of Saints Reporter Issue Reveals Notoriety

This issue’s flashback centers on the 1948-49 school year and reflects major changes in opportunities and perspectives for modern students and school events. Significant changes in the facilities were announced in the September 27th issue of the Saints Reporter, most obvious was the new athletic field.
