Evening of Love for one another and the Little Theater

Valentine’s Day is around the corner; if you are looking for an evening of love songs, the Community Theater has you covered. They will host An Evening of Love Songs, a fundraising event for the Little Theater Improvement Project on Feb. 11 at First Presbyterian Church at 7 p.m. Community members of all ages will be performing love songs. Plans include spotlighting students performing songs from the Lion King, this spring’s Children’s Theater musical, as well as high school students performing contest pieces. Desserts will be provided during the evening. At the end of the night, there will be a group sing-along and a special announcement about the sound system part of the project. “We have several individuals bringing fancy desserts. The whole Presbyterian Church will be a winter wonderland with trees, lights and snow, a little bit of red hearts for valentines.” said Community Education Director Sue Harris.
