Their animal will sleepover at the library! Kids can then pick their animal up Saturday morning.

Monday Night Matinee is Thriller Against Mavericks of MCW

Leading 44-41 at home at halftime, the St. James Area Saints held a 7-point lead with eight minutes remaining but Martin County West hit big shots down the stretch for an 80-75 win on January 16th. The Mavericks, 7-7, were led by Zach Anderson’s 36 points while Anthony Sletta and Alex Stresemann led the Saints with 19 and 18 points respectively.

Wrestling Taps Into Trifecta at Springfield

The St. James Area Saints wrestling team battled tough opponents throughout the opening portion of the season and have been road warriors, wrestling away from home most of those meets. Entering the quadrangular at Springfield on January 10th, the team had one win. When they left they had three more, beating Wabasso, Madelia, and Springfield.

Saints Soar Out of the Gate in League Victory

The St. James Area girls basketball team opened a 20-point lead early and wrapped up a 69-37 Big South Conference triumph over the BEA Buccaneers. The Saints were led by Madelyn Malmgren and Taylor Sodeman, scoring 22 and 21 points respectively.

Sodeman’s Epic Scoring Effort Fuels Win Over Eagles

The Maple River Eagles came to the St. James High School Event Center with hopes to continue a winning streak but the Saints had other plans, posting a 78-70 nonconference decision. Taylor Sodeman moved to another level offensively during the contest and her 37 points marked the 4th highest total in St. James GBB history.

Quiet Beginnings Don’t Rule Out Chance to Make Noise Later
