You probably know that the reason the Bible is relevant after all these years – the reason people find it relevant, anyway, even if you yourself don’t – is that human beings haven’t really changed too much in the course of the last few millenia. We’re still capable of moments of great kindness and warmth, and we’re still capable of tremendous acts of hatred and evil. It’s just the human condition.

Class of 1957 65 year reunion
St. James High School Class of 1957 members met at St. James American Legion at noon for lunch, reminiscing, and picture. 18 members and six spouses were in attendance on Monday, September 17. The class will meet next on Sept. 16,

4-H Golden Gleaners have started a new year
The Golden Gleaners is the local 4-H club based in St. James, there are seven families enrolled in the club. The club is very active within their community, they put together May Baskets for residents within the nursing home, assisted living, and Homestead.
New booster club to support Butterfield-Odin
Butterfield-Odin Public School parents and guardians have started a booster club. New members are welcome to join at any time. The club has supported the athletics program by raising funds, volunteering at home games, packing and distributing treats to athletes for away games, and more.

Back in Time: Homecoming 1972
Homecoming activities 50 years ago.. Mark Vanderbilt, a 6’6 blonde and Natalie Winkelman a 5’4 brunet were named king and queen of the ‘72 at coronation ceremonies Tuesday.
