Create your diorama at home between 4/3-4/8. Then bring it to either the St. James or Madelia Branch library to be displayed. Voting will take place 4/10 & 4/11 with winners announced on 4/13!

Community Survey results are in

St. James City Council held its meeting on Tuesday, March 21. The meeting started with a public hearing for the St. James City Charter, Joe McCabe addressed the council and those in attendance about the process the council used in addressing the target changes. McCabe said they reviewed the current charter, held to community meetings, they visited with the City Manager and City Clerk-Treasurer. Changes are made based on staff recommendations, and current procedures and policies. McCabe and the committee recommend the committee meets in five years and then again in 10 years.
