St. James Drug Arrest
On 11/22/22, members of the St. James Police Department along with the Minnesota River Valley Drug Task Force and the Watonwan County Sheriff’s Office executed a drug search warrant on the 400 Block of 1st Ave. S., in St. James.

Central Farm Service new St. James Feed Mill is making way
This past spring Central Farm Service started construction on its new feed mill in St. James. On April 18, CFS broke ground and started digging for the first phase of this project. In the six months, construction has been keeping to the schedule and looks to finish by Fall of 2023.

The Advent Spirit
Each day we are reminded that the world is not what it should be. It could be better - less suffering, more compassion, less poverty, more peace. Knowing that our world could be better, the church year provides for us an avenue to express our prayers for this. It is called Advent. It is a four-week season when we are allowed to confess the darkness in our world and express our longing for a better world to God.
