In July of 2023 the Watonwan County Fair will be celebrating it’s 144th year. The fair board is made up of men & women who work hard to have the best and biggest Annual Watonwan County get together.

Mayor of St. James Candidates
I believe in the town that I have lived in for over 25 years. I would like to see this town thrive with more businesses coming into town. I would like to be able to have the community have more say in what is going on in our town.

1st Sgt. Modern to Speak at St. James Veterans Day Program
Decorated veteran Nathan Modeen, a 1991 SJHS graduate, is the featured speaker for the November 11th ceremony at the St. James High School Event Center. The program will begin at 10:15 that Friday morning, is open to the public, and veterans and current military are invited to lunch afterwards.
