St. James Class of 1959 Reunion
Leora Ask Class mates welcomed back Marris Wick Rooney from Florida. She had been a classmate but did not graduate with the 59 class.

New paraprofessionals Herrera, Garcia Felix, Rodriguez, Wolner
Raquel Herrera, Lesvy Garcia Felix, and Jody Wolner joined Northside Elementary as Paraprofessionals this year. Herrera was born in Montana, when she was in 5th grade her family moved to St.


New ELD and Family and Community Liason for St. James Schools
Silvia and Juan Solorzano have new positions in the St. James School District. Silvia used to be the Family and Community Liaison and is now an ELD teacher. Juan replaced her as the districts Family and Community Liaison.
School Board given Little Theater presentation
St. James School Board was given a presentation about the Little Theater, Big Changes fundraiser where individuals can donate and purchase seats with their names on them at the meeting last Monday night. This fundraiser will help with the improvements to the theaters sound and seating.
Little Theater – Big Changes update
Sunday was the kickoff of the Little Theater Fundraiser for new seating and sound system. At the American Legion Watonwan Room there was a luncheon fundraiser with entertainment provided by community members.

Butterfield-Odin getting ready for Homecoming
Next week is Homecoming at Butterfield- Odin school. It showed up a little this week with the announcing of Homecoming King and Queen candidates.
