The afternoon of Saturday, Sept. 17, St. James will again celebrate diversity by sharing food, music, and fun from many cultures.

Safe Routes to School sidewalk under construction
The Safe Routes to School 10th St. N. Sidewalk construction was paused after rain showers on August 19 but a clear path is evident. The goal remains to be completed prior to the first day of classes. This project will greatly enhance safety by providing an off-road sidewalk on a main thoroughfare to and from the high school/middle school and elementary school. Lee Carlson

Construction at new VA building moves toward completion date

Mayo Clinic Health System mobile health clinic to host Immunization and Well Child visits
ST. JAMES – The Mayo Clinic Health System Mobile Health Clinic will offer immunizations and well child visits for kindergarten through 12th-grade children at St. James Public Schools. The mobile health clinic will be at St. James Public Schools, 500 3rd Ave. South in St. James, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday, Sept. 2. The visits are by appointment only. MNDOT officials join County Commissioners meeting
