How you plant
When Jesus spoke to the crowds, he often spoke using farming as an analogy. Most likely because most of his audience were farmers, so the analogy would hit home. I’d like to take a moment to do the same.

The End is Near, Then It’s Here
A few days ago I sat next to some fine people at the Windom School Board meeting, the bunch of us waiting for our names to be read off. I wouldn’t say that attending a school board meeting has always been a comfortable experience, nor would hearing my name read off a list always generated warm, fuzzy feelings.

Count down is on
T-minus five days until St. James area students are out of school for summer and nine days until the class of 2023 walks across the stage to accept their diploma.

Ask a Trooper
Question: I was wondering, with the ads on television showing people driving with their hands off the steering wheel, is that legal in Minnesota if your vehicle has that capability? Answer: I believe you are asking about autonomous vehicles, or self-driving cars, which are capable of sensing their environment and operating without human involvement. Minnesota law states that every driver is responsible for becoming and remaining aware of the actual and potential hazards that exist on the highway and must use due care in operating a vehicle.
