Spring is here
What is a better way to kick off spring then to go to a few home sports teams games. After baseball and track had to cancel their events last week, this week was the first week Saints had a home game for the season.

Beyond Reason:
Early one morning, Rob and the Easter Bunny met in a sunny, dewpearled meadow. The rabbit had a basket of Easter eggs at his side.

Beyond Reason: Man versus Golf
You know how sometimes you go to visit your parents but you don’t want to stay with them because, you know, they’re your parents? So you decide to stay nearby, but not that nearby because, well, they’re your parents? But it’s also spring break for the kiddos so you dish out a little more scratch than usual and stay not just at a hotel but a resort with a full-on water park, with lots of pools and water slides galore? And you know how the first few days are good, clean family fun, swimming during the days, seeing the folks in the evening but then you learn that the resort offers something else and that something else is… golf? And you know how halfway through your stay, the PGA walks in like they own the joint? I hate it when that happens.
Ask a Trooper
Question: With spring being here and the melting snow, can you talk about what a person should do when coming across water on roads? Answer: Flooding can occur when streams and rivers flow over their banks, when dams or levees break, when there is run-off from deep snow or any time there is heavy rainfall. Floodwaters can be found on roads, bridges and low areas.

Frazzled, ROB rushes into the coffee shop, immediately recognizes FATHER TIME on the opposite side of the café, sitting in a booth. Rob crosses to him quickly and sits.

This week Back in Time is taking a look at what was happening this week in 2002,2017, and 1994. 2002: News: Darfur Mayor Bob Hildebrant received the Achievement Award at the MRWA Water and Technical Conference for his work with the waste water project.

Job Opening
Since CherryRoad has bought the Plaindealer there has been changes happening that have needed to happen to make the paper better than what it has been in recent years. One of the biggest changes was the redesign of the paper. I have heard a lot of great feedback from people who have said they like the improvements that have been made.
Beyond Reason: “Saints” Patrick’s Day
Sometimes people ask me how I stay ahead of the news. Well, I have many trusted sources but I’ve been reading one publication in particular for longer than all the others. The periodical both informs and entertains. Its prose is simple and clear, but not without style. Their news stories cut to the chase. There is a focus on the natural world. And their puzzles keep me razor sharp. That’s why I still read Highlights magazine.
