St. James Area volleyball opened the home portion of the season with a competitive effort against Lake Crystal-Wellcome Memorial on Tuesday, Aug. 30. The Lady Knights would finish the night winning 3-0 but the Saints battled the visitors to the end.

Cross Country races into season, looks ahead to Mt. Lake Meet
Shorthanded St. James Area cross country teams competed at Fairmont on Friday, Aug. 22, with both varsity and junior high runners. The next meet will be in Mt. Lake on Friday, Sept. 2, with a 10 a.m. start time.
