Saturday morning, Jan 27th, Watonwan County Beyond the Yellow Ribbon was joined by several local teens to help load a moving truck for Richard Nelson, a veteran from Ormsby who was relocating for a job. Jared Schwanz, Activities Administrator at St. James High School brought several student athletes and NHS members, and Jill Peterson, Youth Director at Trimont Covenant Church also brought several of her youth group members. “It was amazing to see so many kids come together on a Saturday morning in January to help a local Veteran,” said Deb Grote, Watonwan County Veterans Service Officer.
