Pop-Art artist Amanda Wirig hosted workshop

Mankato native and Minneapolis based artist Amanda Wirig came to St. James Library to do an Pop-Art workshop for kids Friday afternoon. Kids were able to sign up and submit a selfie that they would paint at the workshop.

Members presented with awards at annual FFA Banquet

St James high school FFA members and families were at the high school Sunday night for the chapter’s annual banquet and award ceremony. Members were presented awards for greenhands, discovery, and a scholarship was given out as well, to name a few.

According to state law, the Special Election is being held on May 24, 2022, to fulfill the remainder of the Honorable Jim Hagedorn’s term, who passed away in February.

Learning Unlimited -Adults with Disabilities Program hires back staff

Learning Unlimited is a program that provides services, both activities and recreation to adults with disabilities. We are lucky to be a consortium to receive State Aid and Local Levy to support this adult population. There are very few places across the state that are lucky enough to be a part of this program.
