Letter to Editor; Thank you Michelle
The family of Michelle Mohlenbrock would like to thank her for her years of service on the District 840 School Board. Michelle ran and won her seat for school board in November of 2008, beginning her first term in 2009. This year is her final year in this position as she has chosen not to run again, serving 16 years on the board. Michelle initially chose to run for her seat because she wanted to learn more about why decisions were made and the processes behind them.

Giving this Thanksgiving
Happy Thanksgiving to everyone and your families.

It’s all in a name
Life is full of choices. One choice that is made for us is our name. When you leave the hospital the birth certificate should be completed and a legal proper name should be listed.Should be.A few years ago I met another teacher from Pine City who shared an account of what happens if that step is not complete. He went to apply for his driver’s license and learned that his legal name was Baby Boy.
Don’t give thanks
How will you spend your Thanksgiving Day?
