Roselyn Ann Ellingson, 89, of Mankato died August 4, 2022, at her home in Mankato surrounded by friends and family.
 A memorial service will be held 6 p.m., Monday, August 22, 2022, at Connect Point UPC, 21441 Marble Rd, in Eagle Lake with visitation one hour prior to the service. Service will be livestreamed on Connect Point UPC’s Facebook page. Private family burial will take place at Swan Lake Lutheran Cemetery at a later date.
 Roselyn was born September 24, 1932, to Floyd and Sophie Thompson near Clarkfield. She was adopted by William and Ruby (Peterson) Westegaard. She graduated from St. James High School in 1950. In 1952, she married Obie Ellingson at Swan Lake Lutheran Church. Together they raised three children.
 In her free time, Roselyn enjoyed playing piano, knitting, reading, being a prayer warrior, and having coffee with many friends.
 Roselyn is survived by her children, Danny (Nancy) Ellingson of Waldorf and Melissa Robertson of St. Peter; former son-in-law, Steven Robertson; daughter-in-law, Shari Rich; grandchildren, Jordan (Alex) Ellingson and Kaylie (Alvero) Guevara; great-grandchildren, Ember, Nova, and Leon James; brothers, Buddy Westegaard and Bobby (Jeanie) Thompson; and sisters-in-law, Delight Thompson, Peggy Thompson, and Orpha Hermel.
 Roselyn was preceded in death by her birth parents; adoptive parents; husband, Obie in 2008; son, Joel; siblings, Adeline (Tom) Lamb, Stanley Thompson, Virgil Thompson, and Vern Thompson; and sister-in-law, Patti Westegaard.
