The Watonwan County Relay For Life Committee held an” Hour Of Hope” event on Thursday evening, November 9 at the American Legion, in St. James. Desserts, coffee, and conversation were a prelude to the main event at 8:00 p.m. Barb Reed of Madelia, a huge contributor to Relay For Life, hand-crafted the beautiful quilt and donated it to Relay For Life. Raffle tickets were sold all fall, with the proceeds going to The American Cancer Society. Heidi Spitzner was the excited winner of the quilt. Shirley Anderson
