The St. James Chamber of Commerce held the 2024 Winter Carnival last week. Saturday was the big day, with activities for all ages and the annual lights parade.
225 Event Center was the place to be for fun activities on Saturday, kids were able to visit the elf shop to buy Christmas gifts for loved ones, or they could decorate ornaments and visit Santa and Mrs. Claus. A classic Winter Carnival tradition was brought back this year, the Winter Carnival Prince and Princess, kids on the court colored pictures and said what their favorite thing about the Winter Carnival is. Samara Villarrea and Memphis Korst were crowned Princess and Prince.
Saturday ended with the lighted parade and Christmas music with bonfires at the downtown park.
