St. James High School inducts 14 students
On Sunday afternoon the St. James High School National Honor Society had its induction ceremony for its 14 new members.

Saint James, MN – Grammy award-winning singer and songwriter, Steve Leslie, takes the stage of the Armstrong Auditorium on Monday, May 8, for the final performance of the WCEA Concerts Season. Prior to the 7 p.m. concert, attendees can enjoy a decadent dessert at WCEA’s first-ever Backstage Bistro starting at 6 p.m.
Close Match Leans To New Ulm in Tennis League Matchup
St. James Area hosted a Big South Conference match with New Ulm on April 24th. Victories by Andrei Rivera, Brennan Kern, and the doubles team of Zech Ciske and Caleb Fast nearly pulled off the victory for the Saints.
Bowers Sisters Deal Doubleheader Sweep for Saints
Redwood Valley’s afternoon at the Watonwan County Fairgrounds was double the disappointment as St. James Area claimed victories of 10-0 and 9-5. Addie Bowers pitched all five innings of the leadoff win and Laney Bowers pitched the complete game win in the nightcap.
Road Loss See Buccaneers Run Wild
The Saints took to the highway for a conference showdown at Blue Earth and an early trip home followed a 17-7 loss after five innings on April 25th. St. James Area took a brief lead in the opening inning on the strength of a Hunter Stevens home run but Blue Earth Area wasting little time in sending the Saints home.

St. James Area will be one of eight teams squaring off in the Caswell Sports HS Invitational Tournament Saturday, April 29th. Action for the Saints begins with a 10:00 matchup against Central High School.
