Rally in Big South Conference Game at Fairmont Falls Short

Fairmont built a strong early lead but St. James Area battled back midway through before the Cardinals tacked on a couple of insurance runs for an 8-3 decision at St. James on April 14th. Saints with hits in the game were Madi Whitney, Lunden Swanson, and Eva Romsdahl.

St. James Area Sees Tight Game With LCWM Slip Away

The visiting Lake Crystal-Wellcome Memorial Knights scored a run in each of the final two innings to escape with a 3-2 victory at the Watonwan County Fairgrounds on April 11th. Errors were in favor of LCWM as they played a game without any mistakes and the Saints committed a half dozen miscues.

St. James Saints Entertain Waseca In Tennis Match

St. James Area hosted the Waseca Bluejays in a tennis match on April 13th and were able to win one singles match and also a doubles competition. The final team outcome was a 5-2 decision for the visitors.

SJA Track Team Creates Friday Night Highlights

A trip to Blue Earth for a Friday night track meet brought the Saints several 1st place individual finishes as both the boys and girls squads placed 4th out of seven teams. Gavin Firchau and America Trejo each claimed a pair of championships at the meet.

St. James City Council held its meeting on Tuesday, April 4. The meeting started with Hosanna Free Lutheran Church requesting cloing Memorial Drive at Tiell Drive to the Gazebo for The Run for Change 5K.

Team Effort Puts Track Team Into First Place

St. James track teams took to the track for another indoor meet on Thursday, April 6th and efforts by the boys team captured top honors. Other teams competing were Janesville-Waldorf-Pemberton, Waterville- Elysian-Morristown, and Blue Earth Area.
