Blood drive at Presbyterian Church April 13-14

Many people want to give back to the community but may not have a lot of time to volunteer. In only about an hour, volunteer blood donors can help save lives and feel instant gratification.

Senior Citizen ‘Birthday’

Audrey Schmidtke was born on March 19, 1925 at her home on the farm in Springfield. She graduated from Sleepy Eye Public School in 1942.

St. James Eggshell concludes season at Regionals

The Senior High Knowledge Bowl Regional Meet in Mankato was postponed from Thursday, March 16, to Monday, March 20, due to inclement weather. The St. James Eggshell team concluded their season, placing 9th in Class AA at the Regional meet with 93 points.
