St. James Women of Today Easter Egg Hunt this Saturday
Come to the Watonwan Co. Fairgrounds this Saturday, April 8th, starting at 10 AM, for the Annual Easter Egg Hunt. Thanks to many wonderful donations from local businesses, the St. James Women of Today will host this event for children, ages 0 – 12. Pick up eggs, play games, face-painting offered, receive a gift-bag, and stay for the drawings for gift-baskets and more. Let’s hope for good weather! Business Spotlight: Johnson’s Meat Market
Johnson’s Meat Market has been a part of downtown St. James for twenty years, owners Dustin and Nicole Johnson purchased the meat market back in 2003. This was not new to Dustin, he started working in a meat market when he was 15. After graduating high school he went to Pipestone Technical College for Meat Cutting/Sausage Making.

Annually the chamber members vote for the Business of the Year, for 2022 they voted St. James Gold Course and Rivers Edge Bar and Grill as the Business of the Year.

Indoor Slate Opens for Saints, Relay and Jumps Win Medals
St. James started the track season with an indoor meet on the Minnesota State-Mankato campus on Friday, March 24th and captured top honors in several events.
Cyclones bring home 9 state medals
11 St. James Cyclones wrestlers participated in the MNUSA State wrestling tournament last weekend and brought home 9 state medals! Fridays competition showcased 3 Cyclones wrestlers, Bryce Miller, Dax Romsdahl, & Khristian Campos participating in the 6u & 8u age levels.

To the Editor: According to the February 21, 2023 edition of the Minneapolis Tribune, a Minneapolis man pled guilty to two counts of murder for killing a pregnant woman. How come this is murder and getting an abortion up until the day of birth is not? Elroy Geistfeld Lewisville .
