New booster club to support Butterfield-Odin

St. James High School announced its Homecoming Court on Friday. The court candidates are Lunden Swanson, Addie Bowers, Emma Schmidt, Alli Malmgren, Allison Vite, Cooper Olson, Emiliano Ramirez, Alex Stresemann, Hunter Stevens, and Jack Westman.

180 4th Graders Attend Watonwan County Farm and Home Safety Day

Watonwan County Fairgrounds, St. James MN --Watonwan County 4-H and Farm Bureau coordinated the annual Farm and Home Safety Day for all children in the 4th grade in the county. It has been two years since the Farm and Home Safety Day has been held and everyone was excited to see it return. There were 180 children from 5 different schools in the county that attended this event. Everyone was given a highly visible colored T-Shirt and safety bags packed with loads of safety information for them to take home to their families.

St. James Cuervos F.C. Champions second year in a row

The team is called Cuervos F.C with uniforms sponsored by the Smithfield company, crowning champions for the second consecutive year in the local Amateur league on September 18 at 1:30 pm playing against the Latinos United team with a score of 2 - 1, on the fields of Northside Elementary School, also counting on the best player Ricky Torres and the best Goalkeeper Merlin Sierra.
