May seems to be the month of Facebook memories for me. If you have Facebook you know what I am talking about. For those of you who might not know what I am talking about Facebook has this feature where it looks back each day on what you posted or were tagged in they call these memories. Fitting I know.
Two hour parking coming to some downtown streets
Tuesday, May 3 the St. James City Council held its meeting.
St. James School board discuss fees for sports and activities
Monday night the St. James School Board met for its May meeting. Items that were discussed were solar panels going on to the high school and Northside, activity fees for next school year, and school lunches.

Bowers shuts out Redwood Valley with a no hitter
With a split double header against Pipestone was the start of a busy week for the Saints softball team. They had five games within last week and the beginning of this week, two of which were a part of a double header against Redwood Valley.

Thank You Teachers
This week is Teacher Appreciation Week. When one thinks of how much time we spend with teachers through out our educational career and all that we put them through they deserve all the appreciation and credit. But this should not just happen during this one week a year, teachers should be shown appreciation all year long, it doesn’t need to be anything grand but kindness goes a long ways.
