To the Editor, I would like to thank all the wonderful people who made Railroad Days a huge success. The Railroad Days parade was full of fun and excitement.

Saintettes spend important days at Iowa Dance Camp
The St. James Area Saintettes spent June 26-29 at Buena Vista University for both individual and team development. Hundreds of dancers from several states converged on the campus, building up to a show on the final day.

Strong second round pushes SJA into top half at State Trapshooting
An extended trapshooting season ended at Prior Lake on June 24th with a strong finish as St. James Area placed 18th overall with a score of 470. Tanner Olson once again led the sharpshooting, missing only once out of 100 attempts, to polish off an outstanding career.

Are you Qualified for Ministry?
There was a checklist of things I had to do in order to become a pastor. Classes to take, internships, interviews, evidence of “the calling” (and probably more that I’ve forgotten). But even before I had the “ministry card”, I was in ministry and the only qualification was that I was a born again believer in Jesus Christ alone.
